Dog registrations & licensing due
Dog registration and licenses are due again in January 2015. This reintroduced initiative by the Ndola City Council is now a legal requirement for all dog owners and aims to control the number of stray dogs roaming the streets and will act as as preventative measure to a would be outbreak of rabies.
Ndola by-laws allow the registration of 2 dogs per propery (K45 each), however a surcharge is added if you would like to register more than 2 dog (K60 each).
Neutered dogs are charged less than unneutered animals.
Please make sure your dog’s rabies vaccinations are up to date before starting the process.
